The Petromax silicone trivet is the light and non-slip base for the HK500 kerosene lamp. Thanks to a temperature resistance of -40°C to 230°C, it ensures safe protection of the base when operating the high-intensity lamp. The silicone trivet also serves as a rest for the fire pots ft0.5 to ft3 (with feet and without) and the lids of the two smallest fire pots, when you need to free a hand during or after cooking. It is also suitable as a base for other products, such as the two smallest fire pans, percolators, teapots and enamel milk and saucepans. After use, the coaster can be hung from the eyelet. For cleaning, the coaster is simply placed horizontally in the dishwasher or washed with a mild detergent.

With the silicone coaster, not only friends of the 1910 patented lantern get their money's worth, but also retro fans. On the front of the coaster you can see the original HK500 lamp: Hood, frame, mantle, handrad and tank are particularly highlighted, while rays indicate the impressive light output of over 400 watts. For setting down the HK500 tank, the inner rim is perfectly fitted and a circumferential bar safely catches dripping Petromax alkane during filling. When the hand pump is operated to achieve the required operating pressure to deliver the kerosene to the carburetor, the HK500 remains secure and non-slip on the coaster.
The back features the iconic Petromax logo used since the company's founding, with the opposing dragons referring to the strong brand and centering on the sun as life-giving light. Fire, strength and light united in one logo and with the letter "G" always pointing to the founder of the original brand: Max Graetz.
