Mudhugger EVO Bolt-On Shorty Vorderrad-MTB Mudguard - up to 3.0" tire, 27.5" and 29" - length: 390 mm
The Mudhugger EVO Bolt-On was introduced in 2021 and developed with the help of riders from the DH World Cup and EWS. It was designed based on the current FOX 36/38 and RockShox ZEB models to address the problem of collision between the fender and fork crown at full compression, which many other fenders have. It is also stiffer and provides more tire clearance than the original design. The short version of the EVO Bolt-On is optimized so that the fender is just as long as necessary to ensure the best protection in all but the most extreme conditions. For this it offers better torsional rigidity. A slight spoiler improves the splash protection. The rear length is 255 mm, the front 105 mm.
The Mudhugger EVO Bolt-On is compatible with many fork models, but sometimes requires additional adapters for mounting. Please note the compatibility chart and contact us in case of doubt, the desired fork is not yet listed. If there are no threads on the fork crown, the EVO Zip-Tie version must be used.
