Cube Attain Race foggrey n shift - Road Bike Aluminum
The idea behind the Attain Race is that it combines the speed of a semi-aero road bike with the comfort of a lightweight tourer. So, for example, we fitted Shimano's slick-shifting Tiagra 2x10 gears and matching Tiagra hydraulic disc brakes. Light and tenaciously grippy Continental Grand Prix tyres, in a comfortable 30mm width. And finished off with a lightweight carbon fork and a frame built for both comfort and speed, so you can broaden your horizons in whichever direction takes your fancy.
Frame and equipment
We built the Attain's 6061 semi-aero aluminium chassis with both comfort and performance in mind. A teardrop profile down tube helps the frame slice through the air and integrated cable routing reduces clutter, while Smooth Welding gives tube joints a premium, almost organic appearance. The tapered steerer and thru axles front and rear ensure pinpoint precision accuracy and efficient power transfer. Slender seatstays and a full carbon fork help reduce road shock and vibration for significantly improved rider comfort, and there's room for tyres up to 32mm. And, with a neatly integrated seatpost clamp and mounting points under the top tube, we like to think we've thought of everything... so you can just ride.
Who is the Attain Race suitable for?
For the price-conscious racing driver. In no other bike category do prices reach such heights as with racing bikes. But if you don't calculate in milligrams or milliseconds, you'll get a fast bike with outstanding features for a plausible budget. The road bike is a trend that is just coming back. For good reason: ever wider cycle paths and the will to do something for your health can best be combined with the road bike. Speed and stiffness are still combined in this category with sufficient comfort.

Incidentally, your bike is delivered completely pre-assembled. All you have to do is put on the front wheel, adjust the handlebars and fit the pedals. It's very simple.
