Together, they help keep you comfortable and in control, no matter what surface you're riding on. Shimano's 2x8-speed gears give you the range you need at the push of a button, and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes bring you safely to a stop no matter what the weather's doing. And Size Split, with its huge range of sizes, means every rider can find their perfect Aim.
Frame and equipment
Beauty is more than skin deep: the Aim's sleek looks are thanks to its Smooth Welded head tube and seat tube junctions, flattered by Internal Cable Routing to reduce clutter. It incorporates a threaded bottom bracket and a flat disc mount that integrates seamlessly with our kickstand mount, plus integrated mounting points for ACID mudguards and carrier. Carefully thought-out geometry includes a lower top tube for more confident handling, and there's plenty of room to run wide, grippy and comfortable 2.25in tyres. Our Size Split system has an expanded range, too, so however tall you are there'll be an Aim that fits perfectly.

Initially viewed critically by mountain bike purists and equipped with some teething troubles, the bike industry has recognized the trend and made it the new standard through continuous improvements. The advantage of the 29" tyres is the enormous running smoothness, which brings great advantages and saves power on long tours as well as uphill and downhill. Obstacles are easier to overcome due to the larger circumference of the wheels, and a greater distance is covered by turning the bottom bracket. By improvements and adjustments in the frame construction and the component selection, initial problems with the agility in the Trail and the optics of smaller frames were optimally balanced. Whether fully or hardtail, a 29 will take you far away.

Incidentally, your bike is delivered completely pre-assembled. All you have to do is put on the front wheel, adjust the handlebars and fit the pedals. It's very simple.
