With 28 inch, treaded tires, a cranked handlebar and a top design in terms of frame geometry, nothing stands in the way of your tours. Even with a "Cyclo" you don't need a suspension, instead you attach importance to insensitive wheels, which are usually equipped with double seals against water and dirt. And if that's still not enough and you like to go to extremes, then modify your tires with spikes. Limits only remain where you don't want to tear them down. Depending on how wild you are on the road, regular maintenance of the components is crucial for longevity. The derailleur hanger in particular has a lot to offer with Cyclos and can tolerate a replacement in your luggage. From our experience, you should also pay special attention to a good brake system, because you need reliability in high speed off-road. You forgive yourself your mistakes, you do not forgive your bike!
