Sliding vehicles
Your little one can train their sense of balance while sitting, which is what ride-on toys are designed for. They help to develop muscles and encourage the joy of movement. Your child can have fun with ride-on cars from the time they start taking their first steps or from the age of one year, as no complex movements such as pedalling or even coordinating steering and pedalling are necessary. Instead, the focus is on building muscle and learning new motor skills. If your child can sit up unaided, but is not yet able to walk, then a baby walker is for you. However, only choose a model that comes with a suitable backrest.

Plastic or wood?
Ride-on vehicles are pulled through the deepest puddles outside; after all, being outside is most fun when rainwater splashes and wet leaves stick to dirty rubber boots... There is no need to explicitly explain the disadvantages of wood here, which become obvious at the latest when the wooden nature vehicle has just survived its first fall and apparently returns to nature over the following months... The plastic variations are simply easier to clean, more durable and more diverse in terms of design.
If you want to use your ride-on car indoors, we recommend quiet tires from the outset, because no neighbor will keep their feet still for long when there is constant rumbling above them. Since our little ones are constantly on the move like clockwork, you will be doing yourself and your neighbors a favor by making sure you buy tires that are easy on the nerves.
