Edge Hybrid – Price/Performance Tip
In the test “Dangerous Goods Transporters – Ten Backpack Manufacturers” by EMTB Magazine (06/2021), the Edge Hybrid secures the price/performance tip, putting it ahead of brands like Amplifi, Camelback, Deuter, Ergon, Evoc, Komperdell, XLC, Scott and Vaude.
Assessment:
With 17 litres, the CUBE is not a space miracle, but the most important features are on board and the pocket management is well thought out – as is the battery compartment. Large batteries can be securely fixed there. The shock absorption values are good, but the protector is rather short, like the entire backpack – it doesn’t fit very snugly. The hydration bladder sits between the protector and the main compartment – and provides additional protection. The workmanship is robust, the backpack keeps its shape, the back padding is a little bulky. A good value backpack with a practical layout and good battery compartment at a fair price.
