Kato Hardtails for fast trails and long tours
The Ghost Kato Hardtails are the largest family of Moutainbikes from Waldsassen. The claim of the developers was to create a bike for every rider and every field of application, without leaving the high standards of the noble manufacturer. With the Kato 1.6, Ghost also offers its younger or smaller fans a good hardtail with the classic 26 inch tires. This bike is ideal for changing from the smaller 24 inch youth bikes. Quick and easy it lifts every tour and first excursions into real terrain. All other Ghost Kato Hardtails are available either as agile 27.5er bike, or as smooth 29er. Equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and reliable Shimano components, the bikes are a faithful companion for long tours and fast trails. The noble Ghost Kato 9.9 is the top model of the series and is suitable with the Rock Shox suspension fork and the almost continuous Shimano XT equipment also for an ambitious use and harder trails. With the special X editions of the Ghost Kato, special bikes for serious off-road use are also on the agenda. With 120mm suspension travel and Race Face components, this bike is especially comfortable on trails. The extreme manoeuvrability and stability of this bike make it a real fun machine. Kato FS - Fullsuspension for more fun on the trail
With its popular Kato FS models, Ghost impressively proves that good fullys don't necessarily have to be sinfully expensive. The fact that Ghost uses 27.5 inch wheels throughout is absolutely consistent. Compared to the 29s, the significantly more agile and only slightly less smooth-running format is still the preferred standard for real trail freaks. Even the entry-level model comes with a sensitive air suspension and high-quality Shimano Deore components. With approx. 14.5 kilograms and a sporty look, Ghost fans get the best technology at an absolutely fair price. With the Ghost Kato FS 3.7 AL U a bike with Shimano XT rear derailleur is already available. The flagship of the series, the Kato FS 5.7 relies on an almost continuous Shimano XT equipment and the ingenious Fox Performance Float 32 and Float DPS air suspension. With just over 13 kilograms, this Fully is also extremely light and should give every rider a lot of pleasure both uphill and downhill. The ergonomics and the clear cockpit provide sufficient comfort even on long tours. Ghost also offers the Fullys in various paint finishes. So every Ghost fan can freely choose between discreet and reserved, or bright and aggressive.
