Road bike power for women: The Cube Axial WS Series

For a long time it was almost impossible for racing enthusiastic ladies to find a really suitable road bike. Many of the models offered especially for women were - with the same technology - more expensive than the men's models. When using a men's bike, the seating position had to be optimized by adjusting the stem, handlebar and saddle. Both solutions are not really practicable, especially for ambitious female riders. With the increasing demand for special women's bikes (also in the mountain bike sector), the problem became more and more present among the manufacturers. Cube was one of the first brands to take on a kind of pioneering role with the extensive development and production of high-quality ladies' models and offers its sporty bikes in the name of the "WS" series in an ever larger selection. The axial series is a household name for every racing driver. The selection ranges from the low-cost entry-level model in aluminium to the super-light carbon racer with hydraulic disc brake. The effort Cube put into perfecting these bikes is enormous. Riders benefit extremely from the adapted seating position and can develop their performance to 100% and bring it to the road. It is also pleasant that the look of the bikes is no longer too playful or cute. The bikes of the Cube Axial series look just as sporty and aggressive as the male counterparts.

Cube Axial for beginners and long tours

Double butted tubes made of light 6061 aluminium are the basis of the stable and rigid frame set. The conical head tube ensures perfect handling in every situation. The 3D forged dropouts make the bike extremely stiff and stable. The carbon fork and flex stays are responsible for the necessary comfort. The geometry of these bikes is designed for efficiency, but the great comfort also allows long distances without signs of fatigue. The internal cables on all bikes give the bikes a clean look and reduce mechanical wear on the components. With the entry-level model, hobby riders and changeover women get a bike that, with its approx. 9.4 kilograms, already permits very sporty use. The reliable and uncomplicated components of the Shimano Claris Group guarantee driving pleasure for a long time. In the Pro version, Cube relies on the Shimano Sora Group and a powerful disc brake. In the equipment "Race", the bike from Cube gets the Shimano Tiagra Group on board. The Axial WS Race Disc and the Axial WS Pro Disc weigh just over 10 kilograms, proving that a racing bike with a disc brake does not necessarily have to be heavy. Visually, these bikes are a real highlight and can only be identified as aluminium bikes at second glance. The slim frame set and the sporty progressive look of the bikes, which do without playful details, create a clear and modern design language that immediately attracts.

Light, torsion-resistant and fast - the axial bikes made of carbon fibre

Carbon as frame material, makes a lot of sense for racing bikes. Tendentially lighter and stiffer than aluminium, in addition to the pure performance data, the increased comfort due to the vibration-damping properties of the material are clear advantages for every racer. Cube would like to offer these highly developed technologies to a broad public and has a puristic and arrow-fast bike on offer with the Axial GTC Pro. The super light and stiff GTC monocoque frame is equipped with the Shimano 105 group. The light Mavic Aksium wheels reduce the weight of this bike to approx. 8.3 kilograms. The Cube Axial WS GTC Pro is a bike for competition and long tours and for riders who appreciate speed. The brand new GTC model with hydraulic disc brake is available to a passionate racing driver in the version Axial WS GTC SL Disc. The Shimano Ultegra gears and the light Fulcrum Racing 55 wheelset, allow a weight of approx. 8.6 kilograms, despite the large brake system. The GTC models are manufactured in the Twin Mold process, which guarantees the optimum balance between stability and weight for the monocoque. The Press Fit bottom bracket and 12mm thru axles provide additional stability and maximum efficiency. The Axial WS C:62 SL Disc is available for professionals and brings the series to a successful conclusion. The super light C:62 Carbon allows the perfect arrangement of the fibres and reduces the weight while at the same time increasing stability. The continuous equipment with the Shimano Ultegra Group ensures brute propulsion. With the aggressive seating position and flattened top tube, 12mm thru axles and extremely stiff bottom bracket, daring female riders get a racing machine that could hardly be faster. The damping basic properties of carbon and carbon fork sheaths, but also provide pleasant comfort for long rides. The ingenious look in the popular team paintwork underlines the claim of this bike: Winner's podium!
